Product Overview
The TBS2000B family is Tektronix’s benchtop entry-tier oscilloscope line, replacing earlier TBS1000 and TDS2000 instruments with a markedly larger 9-inch display, deeper memory, and the same TekVPI® probe interface used on higher-end Tektronix scopes. Front-panel knobs are dedicated per channel, and the HelpEverywhere system provides context-sensitive on-screen guidance.
Acquisition modes on the TBS2102B include Sample, Peak Detect (3.5 ns glitch capture), Averaging (2 to 512 waveforms), Hi-Res, and Roll (for sweep speeds ≤ 40 ms/div, or 400 ms/div at 20 M record length). Waveform math supports Add, Subtract, Multiply, and FFT (Rectangular, Hamming, Hanning, or Blackman-Harris windows; linear RMS or dBV RMS magnitude). Search and Mark steps through every event matching a user-defined criterion.
